Volunteering and CFI
Community First International acknowledges the important work and contribution made by volunteers, we welcome volunteers into the CFI family and provide full inductions and on-the job training.
Our Home and Community Care Program provides volunteers the opportunity to help the frail aged and younger people with a disability. Without this vital assistance many of our clients would be unable to remain living in their own homes.
Our aim is to assist people who are elderly or who have a moderate to severe disability to remain living in the community independently, or with family, rather than prematurely entering an aged care facility.
In providing services, it is important to promote independence and encourage clients to continue to do what they can for themselves.
If you have recovered from a mental health condition and wish to help and inspire others to recovery who are currently experiencing the anguish of mental health issues then become a volunteer for the Personal Helpers and Mentors Program in Mandurah or Albany. Get in touch with CFI and help others step up to a better life.
