Community First International recognises that some grant programs will only provide grants to organisations that are legal entities, CFI, through an auspice service arrangement, offer a professional management service including;

  • taking responsibility for all grant money received,
  • monitoring and the management of all finances
  • ensuring compliance with auditing requirements
  • Reporting

Accountability and Transparency

CFI, through its Governance Department, will take responsibility to maintain accurate records and decision making processes for the administration of grant funds.   We will comply with all reporting obligations, both to the agency providing funding and Project Management.  
Our responsibility may range from managing receipt of funding, to project outcomes (as specified in the funding application submitted to the sponsoring body) and acquittal, including the preparation of a final report for distribution to all relevant stakeholders.

Value for Money

We can help you determine whether the program or project addresses the need within which funding is available, or assist with the delivery and management of the project.   Systems will be established to review and evaluate the program or project to assess whether value for money has been achieved.
